Deprem sebebiyle ya\u015fanan can kayb\u0131 afetler nedeniyle meydana gelen can kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k %60\u2019\u0131n\u0131 kapsamaktad\u0131r. Deprem riskinin y\u00fcksek oldu\u011fu b\u00f6lgelerdeki binalar\u0131n daha sa\u011flam hale getirilmesiyle can kayb\u0131 azalt\u0131labilir. Risk azaltma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yo\u011fun olarak devam ediyor olmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131n hedeflenen seviyelere hen\u00fcz ula\u015f\u0131lamam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r (Ulusal Deprem Stratejisi ve Eylem Plan\u0131). Projemiz, 11. Kalk\u0131nma Plan\u0131 hedeflerinde yer alan deprem sonras\u0131nda olu\u015fabilecek can kayb\u0131n\u0131n en az seviyede tutulabilmesi i\u00e7in gerekli risk azaltma \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131na y\u00f6nelik olup d\u00fcnya d\u00fczeyinde \u00f6nemli bir soruna \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm getirmeyi hedeflemektedir (11. Kalk\u0131nma Plan\u0131 \u00d6zel \u0130htisas Komisyonlar\u0131 Raporu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projemiz d\u00f6rt ana i\u015f paketinden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Her i\u015f paketinin mahiyeti kapsaml\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rma i\u00e7ermektedir. \u0130\u015f paketlerinin ana sorumlular\u0131 ilgili alanda uzman, bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 ile kendisini ispatlam\u0131\u015f ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar g\u00f6rev alacak \u015fekilde belirlenmi\u015ftir. Projenin \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n laboratuvar prototipi (TRL3-4) seviyesinde olmas\u0131 hedeflenmektedir. \u00dcretilen prototip hem laboratuvar hem de saha ortam\u0131nda test edilecektir.
